Top Notch Appliance Service Technician Needed
Windsor Appliance is an expanding home appliance repair company that has been in business for over 40 years and is committed to providing the best service to our customers. An established, reputable company in the Windsor area, we are in need of an experienced technician to meet the growing demands of our business.
We provide opportunities for education and continued advancement in an ever changing and challenging industry.
Terms of Employment: Full time 40-48 hours per week.
Salary: Dependent upon experience, other benefits included.
Start Date: Position available immediately.
Location: Windsor and area.
Skill requirements:
Education: Minimum GED, preferably some college/technical training for licensing.
Credentials: TSSA certification required and appliance repair trade certification preferred but not necessary.
Experience: 2+ years required of in home repair.
Language: Speak English, Read and Write English.
Specific skills:
Must be able to read and interpret schematic and parts diagrams as well as manuals. Conduct voltage, resistance and other tests using electrical testing equipment.
Must be able to diagnose faults or appliance component malfunctions using effective troubleshooting skills and repair in a timely fashion.
Additional Skills:
Prepare written estimates of repair costs, plan efficient service routes, instruct and train apprentices.
Essential Skills:
Must be able to communicate well orally, be able to work well with others. This position also requires good problem solving and decision-making ability as well as critical thinking, job planning and organizational skills.
